Thank you for choosing my website for your piano lesson needs.  Why not make piano lessons one of your New Year’s Resolutions?  I guarantee you won’t be sorry!

No matter where you are in life, (if you have a young child who wants to learn to play the piano, or if you are an adult who took lessons as a child and gave up) if you have the desire to learn, there is no better time to start than right now!  In all my years of interacting with students and adults I have never had one say “I used to take piano lessons and I am so glad I quit!”  On the contrary, what I hear most is … “I used to take piano lessons and I wish I would have stuck with it.”

This website is designed to give you the information you need to determine if piano lessons are in your future and if I am the right teacher for you.  I would encourage you to look at each section of the site and be sure to check out the FAQs, where I answer some of the most commonly asked questions about piano lessons.

Learning to play the piano is very rewarding for both children and their parents.  However, it does require work and commitment.  Playing the piano disciplines a child’s mind, develops hand/eye coordination and helps students in subjects like math and science.  It also provides the best foundation for playing any other instrument – knowing how to read music.  Once a student knows how to read music and play the piano, the transition to other instruments is relatively simple.

Thank you for taking the time to visit my website.  Choosing the right piano teacher for you and your child is key to success.  So, whether you choose Encore Piano Studio or not, I want to wish you the best as you embark on this exciting journey.  It is something you will never regret!
